I'm brand new to the computer world and any help will be

Yes my friend.Bookmarks and Favorites are the same thing.Favorites are what they call them in Internet Explorer.Bookmarks are what most other browsers like Firefox,Netscape etc.And I do personally recommend Firefox.

Bookmarks and Favorites are the same thing: Internet addresses that you want to record so that you'll find the site again! The only difference is that Internet Explorer calls them Favorites, and other browsers usually call them Bookmarks.

Bookmarks and favorites are one in the same...they are just different names in different web browsers...Firefox - bookmarks, Internet Explorer - favorites...

It's the same.

They are called Favorites in IE and Bookmarks in Firefox.
