Just seems like the NFL wants to make Peyton Manning a more complete product. I noticed watching the replays in slow mo during the game Grossman fumbled a snap and ran away from the ball after he did it. I realize it was wet and all, but fumbling 2 snaps...and any QB will tell you the last thing they want to do is run away from a ball they've fumbled. I get the feeling more and more that professional sports are rigged, and not just the NFL, but the NBA and MLB too.

Rex is just a young QB (injuries have shortened his career) in his first Super Bowl start (in the rain no less) and he was nervous. He wasn't the only one to fumble either...also how come nobody said Romo fumbled on purpose? The Bears got a bad break and lost, fair and square. ( I guess when Bettis fumbled last year in the playoffs, only fumble he had all year, he was trying to throw the game huh?) Just because something odd happens doesn't mean it was rigged...strange stuff just happens sometimes. You have seen the videos of people running touchdowns the wrong way right?

I dont think it was rigged. Grossman is just a bad QB sometimes and for him when it rains it pours (which is fitting since it was raining during the game) No one wanted to see Peyton Manning lose more than me but I dont think he won because of it being rigged. Chicago just stunk plain and simple and the Colts were on. Also I thouhgt the same thing about the fumbles but once I watched the replay I realized that he wasnt running away from it he was trying to find it and didnt know where it went. However i still think he did a bad job, but if you have seen him play through out the year you would know that when he is bad is really bad and it doesnt matter who he played against. I dont think the NFL is rigged but I dont know about MLB or NBA because I dont watch them. I cant stand the NBA and I only watch the Padres or the Cubs during baseball season, so I really couldnt comment on whether or not they are rigged. But I personally dont think the NFL is rigged.

I am no longer surprised to see such questions. Every super bowl that has passed, there have been fans who believed that the super bowl was rigged in favor of the winning team. Have you ever thought, that perhaps a team that wins the super bowl, did so because they played well enough to win? I am not suggesting that bad calls do not occur, but this game (with the exception of a couple of questionable calls) was a mostly clean game. Ray Lewis winning was not the result of a rigged game. How about Michael Strahan or Jerome Bettis? Both players played their final games winning a championship, only to retire afterward. Were those super bowl's rigged? This argument has lost more and more credibility. If it were blatant, then I would agree. However, there is no such evidence that points in favor of this question.

Yeah, I think I get what you're saying. But there are gaming comissions, and NFL regulations. Think about it....you can bet on a football game....but not on WWE wrestling. The difference is one is an actual game, the other is fixed with a pre-determined winner. The gaming comission would never stand for a fixed win. They are the best in the business, in finding cheaters. If it was fixed, the teams involved would both have alot of people in prison. But above all, the SuperBowl is the biggest game of the year, it only happens once a season, and it's harder than you know what to get there. Everyone gets the superbowl shakes!!
------NOT FIXED------

There's just no way you could rig the super bowl without someone squealling. There's too many players you'd have to pay off, and if you're suggesting they just got to Grossman, ... no one person wins or loses any game, ... it's a team sport. Besides, you couldn't pay a quarterback enough to throw a game. The endorsements afterwards alone are priceless.

While I m not sure if the Super bowl was rigged, one thing I am sure of is the players don't throw the game so another can win. I m sure most of us that watch sporting events have watched a game and said; this game was totally rigged. If any game is rigged it's not the players, but it's the referees that can and will determine the out come of the game if they so desire too.

No it wasnt rigged. Grossman has done these sorts of things all season it is nothing new. I dont think the other sports are rigged either. Otherwise the Yankees and Lakers would win a championship every year.

It's not that hard to believe that, when you're sitting in your lounge chair and they replay it 100 times to make sure you seen it. Come on what are the odds, 32 team 6 with black coaches and both make it to the super bowl. Conspiracy Theory Yes, but truly obvious in all the games I watch

Dude you are crazy. Did you see how wet it was? Grossman didnt run away from the ball. He missed the snap, the ball went through his legs and he went diving after it.

Well, let's get something right here. One of the best part of this year's SB was the refs. It's been a while since I've seen a fair officiated game. If you really want to see pathetic calls from refs, watch last year's SB (Steelers vs Seahawks).
