Considering buying a new vehicle but my number one concern is to make sure that I get the best overall new vehicle warranty, regardless of make or model. I would like to have a car that doesn't have "real" repair bills before it is paid for. Any advice?

Hyundai and Kia both have 10yr/100,000 powertrain warranty. But be aware that does not cover everything! Just the engine and transaxle. The 5yr/60,000 covers most everything else and this combined with the powertrain warranty is the best in the industry today. What I like is that you also get 5yrs of emergency roadside service as well.

I have a new Hyundai Sonata and recently had to get a windshield replaced under warranty. It was a pleasant experience especially since they gave us a loaner car to use while ours was in shop. I would definitely recommend Hyundai.

G.M. is now advertising 100k
But KIA was doing it first.
And I get a sneaky feeling that if you read the G.M. warranty it only covers things like explosion.
