If you mean "What is osmosis":
Osmosis is the net movement of water molecules from a region of high water potential (high water concentration) to a region of low water potential (low water concentration) down a water potential gradient, through a partially permeable membrane. It is an essential transport process across the plasma membrane of all living cells.
