what are good colors for a family of 4 to wear in family pics?

My husband wants us all to wear black and I just don't think that would make for a great family pic. ( we have two very young kids, 4 and 8 mos)

If you don't want black, I would say brown or blue. Darks look good in photos. Red would work too. I wouldn't do white, it will make you all look bigger.

White button down shirts or white T-shirts will suit everyone. If your husband wants to wear black then allow him and one other person in the photos to wear black then the others wear white.

Go with a dark color and avoid white. Most photograohers will tell you that. Or the big thing right now is black and white photos. Maybe that is what you could do. Good luck.

Pick colors that complement your skin tone--that means don't wear anything similar to your color, and dont wear anything thats the direct opposite either. Pick nice, neutral colors too--nothing too bright or intense, but nothing too pale or washed out either.

maybe you two could wear blakc and the kids could wear blue or white? you dont all have to wear the same color. Try to convince him to wear blue, or maybe white

I love taking pictures with people using beige cause it softens the people and the picture and it goes alot with the back round. Enjoy

It depends on what your coloring is like. If you have warm skin tones, try cream, gold, chocolate, or any flame colors. (Red, orange, or yellow.) Green also looks good. If you have cool skin tones, try white, silver/gray, black, or any cool colors. (Blue, magenta, or any neons.) Ice blue looks especially good.
