I tuned my guitar down but the bridge went out of wack can someone tell me how to keep it right?

This is kind of tricky. The springs on the back of your guitar are set up to keep the bridge in place during normal tuning. When you release the tension on the strings (de-tune your guitar), you will change the tension of the springs. If you are the handy type, you can mess with the screws that hold the springs in place. If you are the clumsy type, tune it where you want it, and take it to a guitar shop to have them adjust the bridge.

This is why I bought a Telecaster. It has a fixed bridge and I never have to mess with any of the problems associated with a floating bridge.

It doesn't matter you wouldn't damage the guitar from doing that but you are more likely to break a string in low tuning.

It shouldn't be doing that. It must be loose. Get it repaired.
