I have heard of that happenig, but find it shocking! Without meaning to offend you... are you very overweight or large framed to begin with? That may, I guess account for not noticing changes in your body, although I have heard of it happening with smaller framed women too. I guess I find it so strange is that I am only 21 weeks and I am so aware of the movement of the baby that I can't believe not knowing it was there. Larger women have a harder time feeling the fetal movement, so that may account for it if you are overweight. Also, you must have had very irregular periods if you did not notice not getting your period for all that time! I guess that if you didn't feel anything for the past 35 weeks, you can't expect to automatically feel different just by knowing, although maybe now that you are aware of the fact that you are pregnant, you will be more intuned to your body and actually notice everything that is going on. I hope you are able to experience the joy of preganancy, even if only for 5 weeks!

Well, the good thing is that you know now, and you can begin to get the care that you and your baby need. HOpefully, you are in good health anyway, aren't a smoker or drinker or drug user. I can't imagine what a shock it must have been to you to find out this far along. Good thing is that your baby will be here before you know it! Bad thing is, your baby will be here before you know it and I'm sure you have so much to do!!

I hope finding out was not bad news for you, but was positive, happy news!

Best of luck to you!

Its is EXTREMELY rare but I have heard of it happening. Women giving birth on the toilet at home or go in the ER thinking there appendix ruptured and its a baby. Most of the time the women were bigger so they didnt even notice or it is teen or young girls who do not know much about the whole process of pregnancy that think everything is normal. I did see a program on it

At what point did you think hmm maybe there is a problem?

The most I've hear is a friend was 5 months pregnant and had no idea. Some people just have no big symptoms.

You need to get to the doctor asap and have them do an ultrasound to make sure the baby is ok
