I always thought that the new shows like for The Real World, or the The Hills were on at 10 but why have they been on at 4:30 instead? Even when they show commericals of the shows they say new at 10pm but they are really on at 10. Just curious.

I believe they call it an "afternoon sneak". It is the new show but they put it on right after TRL...so you don't have to wait until 10. ;) That's all!

I think MTV is trying to get a younger audience to watch their shows.

I think the new ones are on at 10, but they show "encores" of these shows all week long. They will encore the shows from every night all week long.
