I just did this for my fiance for Valentine's Day. My fiance and I have been together for going on 4 years now and I made a list of all of the songs that were special or significant to us. Examples, the first song we slow danced to, the two songs that he played in the car the night he proposed to me, the songs that remind him of our new baby girl and kids, etc,....(you get the picture) I ended up with nineteen songs. I burnt all of them in chronological order (beginning of our relationship to present) and made him the CD. I even made him a cover to it by typing all of the songs and artists out and the #ed track for each. My original plan was to surprise him by laying it on the driver's seat of his truck the morning of Valentine's Day so that he could listen to it on his way to work and think of us. Of course it didn't work out that way because he was too nosy about it and I ended up having to give it to him early. If you do this maybe you'll have better luck on that part. He loved it.

Really depends on your favorite music type... I am more into hard rock and heavy metal, but the song by Rascal Flatts (country) was a great song to dance and fall in love to. The song is a bit sad, but still beautiful. The name of the song is "What hurts the most".

" Don't Want To Miss A Thing"-Aerosmith
"Unchained Melody"-The Righteous Brothers
"Open Arms"-Journey

Those songs are lovey-dovey but still awesome.
