Find some preggy pops. They're lolipops in flavors like ginger that help ease the agony of morning sickness. Also, try taking extra vitamin B (B6 and B12 specifically). They ease the pain also.
For your cold and cough, try Cepacol Sore Throat with Pain Numbing lozenges. They're miracle workers when it comes to sore throats, and I took them while I was pregnant. They should be fine.
Mostly, get lots of rest. Don't do to much. Don't strain yourself, or you run the risk of hurting your little one. Don't stop eating--baby needs the nutrition.
Good luck to you!!! I hope you start feeling better soon!!!

With both my babies, a 6 year old and 1 coming sept. 10th, I was sick for 5+ months. The only thing that really worked was Zofran (which is expensive but you can usually get the generic at Walmart) and Reglan. I had 9 3+ day stays in the hospital and lost 30 pounds with my 2nd baby. Both are girls. My mom thinks that is why. So good luck! I've been there! I feel for you!!!!

Yeah right!!!! I'm due any day and still going through the morning sickness. Despite everything everybody tells you nothing will work except a prescribed medicine. Tell your doctor that you can't even keep water down. If your not gaining weight then he will probably prescribe it for you. But if you are then you really don't need it.

I'm six weeks pregnant too and on Monday I got my first bout of morning sickness. Yuck! I find that if I eat salty crackers (saltines) and I drink sparkling water it seems to do the trick (for awhile). About the preggie pops, I recommend them because they have been helping me as well. Good Luck and I know how you feel!
