It's hard to say since it will vary by province.

In Manitoba, for example, you should get back about $2500. No matter which province you live in, you have enough non-refundable credits to get back all of the income tax that you paid in ($1800) plus you get an additional provincial credit for your rent. That is, however, if at least one of your children has zero income. If both of them are working, your "eligible dependant" amount is reduced by the amount that they make (so you would claim the one with the lower income). This would reduce your non-refundable credits which means less of a refund for you. But, until we have all the variables, it's very difficult to say what you would get back.
