Check for a stop light switch under the dash. Should be in the area of the upper brake pedal arm. Activation of the brake pedal closes the switch.

It sounds like the brake light switch is gone bad, Its located by the brake pedal and easy to replace. By touching the two wires together while someone watches the brake light come on that will tell you. There very cheep as well. Good Luck and GOD Bless,

Jackie

Has the brake light switch been checked? It operates over the brake pedal.

It sounds like your brakelight switch is out. It is a white or black box attached to the back of the brake pedal.

the only other thing I can think of would be to tell you to go to a parts store and ask them to help you with a test light or ask them if they could try to help you diagnose the problem.
