He is a rising star in the NHL and is very underrated right now. Nobody knows much about him.

"Has good skills despite only average size. Good powerplay potential not a great defensive player. Will probably top out at 35 goals and be a steady top 6 forward for years to come. Should never make more than $3.5 million a year."

Have you been watching Willie this year? He's on a 40+ goal pace and is one of the Canes' top penalty killers. He's not gonna win the Selke (this year anyway), but if you have to do that to be called a "great defensive player" then most of the league is in that category. He's got good speed, is strong on the puck and willing to set up at the top of the crease and take the punishment required to get those tough chances. Despite being only of "average" size. He's also a good influence in the locker room -- probably due to his association with Rod Brind'Amour (thanks again Bobby Clarke!) -- and a puckbunny favorite. How much more complete can a player get?

Justin Williams is a good player. I know him most for being able to get the other team's mind off the game and he contributes largely to Carolina's winning.

He came up at the same time as Simon Gagne with the Flyers but Flyers managment didnt' have faith that he would ever develop so they traded him for a complete nobody. Good aquisition for the Canes.

I think he is just one of the many outstading players for the Canes. As the leading goal and game- winning goal scorer is is an asset to the team that they can not lose.

I think he really improved alot from last season. I think it was great that he made the all star game. If he puts on a few pounds I think he could be a really good powerforward with speed.

Nice player. Not an All Star, certainly not at the expense of Jagr, Kovalchuk and others.

He is a very good player with loads of potential and talent, this must be proof enough , Bobby Clarke traded him.
