this is more a ticket offense's then an arrestable offense . if your sober and don't have some other reason for the police to arrest you then you will just get a ticket or even just a warning .
don't drive with your lights off .

You can get a ticket. Why would you want to. Do you want to have someone run into you? I know that some people do it to be "cool" but I think it is really stupid. I drive a semi for a living and I almost killed someone doing this sort of thing. DON"T do it. If you get caught and get a ticket, you deserve it.

It is only likely that you would be arrested for any driving offense, besides DUI, if you are breaking other laws at the same time.

You won't get arrested, but they will give you a citation. Unless you have outstanding warrants, I can see where you could get arrested. But no, not for inoperative headlights.

No. Depending on where you live, you can probably be ticketed, but more likely than not, the cop or trooper would simply pull you over and ask you to turn them on. If you get pulled over for not having your lights on, the cop can search you for other things if there's reasonable suspicion. For example, if you get pulled over for not having your lights on and there's clearly a visible open alcohol container, you can get arrested for DUI etc., but the not for having your lights off.

Yes. It's stupid and puts yourself and everybody else on the road in danger.

Mind you, you'll only get arrested if you're doing other worse things or if there's a warrant out for your arrest or something.

Probably you'll just get ticketed.

You'll probably get stopped, asked for a producer and fined at a later stage. You wont be able to drive till daylight, if all the other lights are in working order.
