i'm not a guy so have never experienced the "morning wood" first hand. but i'd dated plenty of guys if that counts lol. usually when my man wakes up with morning wood it has nothing to do with sex (and most men i've dated are the same way). its not a sexual arousal but a need to urinate. try going to pee and then it will get soft again. if indeed it is an arousal, the best thing to do is to either masterbate it away for quick comfort or just ignore it and it will go away on its own eventually. since it appears you dont have a girlfriend that lives with you i'd say that masterbation is the quickest way to be rid of it.

Be glad that you have an early morning erection. I'm 50 years old. My erection when having sex, while still there, just aint as hard as it used to be. However, sometimes when I wake up early in the morning, especially after a night out with some drinks, I wake up with a solid erection.

It restores my pride and lets me know that I've still got it. So don't complain. Just live with it. It happens to all young guys. There will come a day when you wish you still had that early morning rise.

Oh my.... well try going for a pee the last thing you do before you fall asleep. Your covers must be mighty heavy to squash it..... perhaps you need to change your bedding.... how about a lovely, light but cosy goose down quilt.... problem solved.... of course there is another way.... or do you already sleep with someone....I'll just say, sleep tight!

Stop drinking before you go to bed. When I wake up with "wood" (which is very often) it's because I have to pee. I usually go to bed with a glass of water or apple juice handy.

It doesn't wake me up though. I only wake up early if I dream that I need to use the toilet. I'm pretty sure that peeing in your sleep is going to make you pee the bed, so it always wakes me up. (Dreaming of peeing, not peeing the bed.)

Stop being male...it's the only way to stop it.

We call it 'morning glory' as in the Oasis album!!!!

One day my friend...you will be willing to give up oscars, dinners with presidents, and dates with rich tarts for just one of those things.....so don't complain about it!!!!!

You can't really stop it but to get rid of it think of something that won't make your erection stay. Think of something that will make it go away. You could also try to sleep naked so your erection doesn't dig into your clothes. You could try to just wear loose shorts. Your erection will pop through but it won't be held back.

Masturbate and urinate before you go to sleep at night. If that doesn't work, buy less restrictive sheets so that you can maintain a comfortable erection while on your back. If that still doesn't work, try sleeping on your side.

Beat it before you go to sleep. Again if you wake up.

Alternative: get a girlfriend

Alternative: stop the porn
