im thinking about getting a new cage for my hamster, he is a dwarf hamster, but he is big for a dwarf hamster, right now i have a crittertrail two cage and i like it but im ready for a new one. I dont care what brand of cage it is, but i would like to stick to this same type of plastic cage

A cage that doesnt have a lot of bars or wires. I breed dwarf hamsters, they get to cold with a whole open aired cage like with the sides are bars. When they get to cold they get sick fast. umm they make cages that have an aquairium bottom and then go up to a level where there are wheels and tubes and everything like that and they latch really well so you dont have to worry about escapees, but yes tubes are a pain to get clean. I find that the easiest way to get them clean is to let them soak in hot soapy water. I hoep this helps.

I had a multilevel cage that had metal wiring and my hamster loved it. There was ladders for him to climb in and i put tubes down at the bottem to play in. My hamster was so happy. There was 3 different levels. One was his play area one was his sleep area and the other had his wheel. He was never bored and always running around. They can be a little pricey mine was bout $100 but its well worth it to see your hamster happy. They also last a very long time and our very durable. My hamster died about 5 years ago and his cage was being stored in the basement just in case. This year I decided I wanted to try birds and decided to use my hamsters old cage because it was big enough.

Most hamster cages are too small for teddy bear hamsters. Habitrails are bad, because teddy bear hamsters can get stuck in the tubes and they are hard to clean.
The best you could possibly get would be a 20 gallon aquarium with a mesh lid! Hamster heaven
