every england game is an opertunity to show the rest of the fotball world who we are & that we are gonna destroy every team who dears step foot on our pitch.
insted we show the world we are easy to beat and dont care if we lose friendles..

Personally i'm glad spain won. Mclaren should not be in charge and the sooner he gets the boot the better, the difference between spain and england tonight was the end product. England looked more like a lucky team going forward where spain showed confidence and skill. That comes from the tactics.

The English league contains great players but most of them are either playing for Scotland, Wales, Republic or Northern Ireland or abroad from the British Isles.
England are overrated when it comes to International Football, they always have been since the 1990 World Cup finished.
I truly think that if GIGGS chose England instead of Wales, they would have the World cup and European championships many times.

Most of the England players play with amazing talent from other nations at club level. Which in turn make them look good. The truth is from manager downwards England are the most over hyped, rated, and paid individuals in world football.And at the same time the most inconsistent but with plentiful excuses for when things go wrong. For if they had won the same players and their manager would be feted for winning(a friendly) as they are now being crucified.

"BRING BACK BECKHAM" ????? What for ?! What we saw tonight was nothing short of a pure comedy !!! I just have no idea anymore what the solution is for English international football. Bad manager ? Bad players ? What we have seen is that Scolari didn't want anything to do with English football. Let's ask him what the solution could be !! Perhaps his refusal to become the English manager has the answer somewhere. Or... let's offer the job to Mourinho instead ! That could be the answer too... He would fire the entire English squad and start afresh.... with young inexperience players.... players HUNGRY to win !! That is what I think is the answer.... I feel that the present English squad is... STALE.... each player loaded with money... NO LONGER ANY MOTIVATION to win. Rich people do not make good football players. Hunger for recognition.... ahhhh that is the right motivation...

When you look at the number of quality players England has you'd easily say they are the favorite for any championship presented to them but the only thing killing is the lack of a great manager which is making the team not do anything special.

It's the English attitude of "It's only a game" which was slightly spoilt in 1966 when Sir Alf Ramsey's team made the big mistake of actually winning the World Cup!! but since then we've returned to the only participating attitude in tournaments.

I said it then and I saw it now, Sam Allardyce should have been made manager. England need a good kick up the backside and told how bad they are. There just doesn't seem to be any passion, yet there are people who play in lower leagues than the Premiership who would give anything to play for their country, and every time we put out a load of overpaid decent enough players, but just disinterested in the result.
It's a sad state of affairs.

the Spaniards' passing had the England players chasing shadows and England resorted to thumping hopeful balls towards the Spanish defence to give the ball away cheaply.

I am sorry to have to tell you this, but England are not a very good football team.
For some odd reason, at the start of every competition, England fans seem to be under the delusion that they have a chance of winning. The evidence for this is recent results.
