I just want to know why people get so defensive when I ask a question and have had no bias? I mean, I'm just asking questions, and I rarely submit my own view whilst asking a question on here? Yeh, I ask what people think about Bush and Tyra Banks...IT'S MY JOB.

So I want somebody...ANYBODY...to explain why get so defensive when I haven't attacked anyone?

inm y experence most people get defensive whenever they feel insecure about something, or they know that they are in the wrong.
getting defensive is a defense mechanism, its a way to protect yourself from a possible attack.
the best way to deal with someone who gets defensive while your talking to them is to take a step back and recognize that it wasnt what you said it was how they heard it. pause for a moment, and very sweetly rephrase the question or statement.
apologize for offending them , even if you feel like you didnt and allow them to express why they were offended.
i work customer service and before i started i never thought about the fact that it wasnt what i said but what was heard.
this tactic will help in all aspects of your life, from personal to buisness.

I haven't looked at your questions, but could it be the way that you ask them? You might be asking questions that are very sensitive in the eyes of some. Even if you aren't on one side or the other, people just fume thinking about certain people and situations.

Take a look at your questions, yourself. See if you have phrased things in a way that may be offensive to some. See if the dates you wrote the questions weren't days that something really bad happened on--regarding the person to whom you are referring.

If you think, after checking them out, that all of your questions are in good taste--then, it isn't you. Then some real jerks have been the ones to answer.

Insecurity causes people to be defensive. We either want an ear full of trouble or a mind full of peace. I always choose peace.

they take a wrong way. because they think they know more than u, or they want to tell u that their idea is good ,and don;t want any comment.think about the time u decide to do something ,and u think ur right. then someone tell u another way, or situation, wat will u do? maybe get angry, maybe not, but most people get angry.
