Yes it will take quad core, but I would seriously recommend some the P5B Deluxe instead, it uses the P965 chipset which is much more stable for the Core 2s that the 975 chipset the P5W uses.

dude, what a coincidince, i'm getting the same motherboard. and yes it does support quad core but if you can afford that much for a processor i would suggest an SLI or crossfire ready motherboard for perfect gaming graphics.
