i'm given the option to buy a tester cologne that doesn't have a cap, so i'm wondering whether it is a bad decision.

will the cologne slowly dry up? it's a sprayer.

Well, I'm getting a lot of mixed answers! What shall I do?? It's definitely cheaper, but.. if it evaporates then it won't be cheaper!

Yes. Due to the amount of alcohol it with evaporate a lot quicker than most other liquids.

You can put a baggie over the area and then a rubber and then rubberband the area off. I am not sure if it will dry up, but that should help enough. That is what I did with some bath gel that the cap broke on.

Problem with a sample is that you do not know if anyone has put water in there to sell it or some other cologne. It would be best to get a new one.

From my personal experience, I've found that perfumes and colognes that do not have a cover DO end up evaporating away slowly. I have a bottle of very expensive perfume right now actually that has lost it's cap and is slowly losing it's liquid.

NO, it is still capped off in the inside of the sprayer. That is why you push down, to open that valve. There is no difference for the cap, they are for looks.

No, it won't. I always buy tester because they are cheaper and they smell the same and last the same. It's a great deal.

if it doesn't have a cap, then it must not be intended to dry up.
