It beeps even when the sound is muted and headphones are plugged in. The charger is plugged in so it should not be beeping because it is running out of battery. This has become quite distracting especially when studying in a quiet library. How do I stop it from beeping?

I don't know the answer to this question, but what I can tell you is that the beeping is not coming from the sound card, it is coming from the motherboard's speaker. That speaker emits beeps, especially during the boot-up process, to tell the user of any errors. Usually if you hear one beep after you turn on the computer, it usually means that it passed the tests that it needs to pass before booting into Windows, which is a good thing. If you want to mute that, you should be able to. Go to the sound options and just mute the sound for the option that says PC Speaker. Usually that works within Windows.

As all have reported above it should be countless issues. although, from the spec of your pc you've countless warmth being generated, so your followers may not be sufficient. I had an same situation with new RAM and different stuff on a pc that ran nice for 2 years as well. It did the exact same as you for mnths and drove me mad, yet i'm not holding yours it an same situation. What I did became take off the aspect panel, checked each little thing as suggested above, then stuck a large table fan acceptable next to it to blow chilly air in it, earlier or perhaps as it became operating. This stopped it happening, untill I took it away, then I were given the BIOS click (quietly) to inform me it became getting warm back. I placed it back and it became nice. I scanned the entire element even as booted, and the different 2 drives I surely have, as all of them generate warmth, then i purchased a twin fan for £7 to slot interior to capture up on all of it. It hasn't ever faulted because! that's worth a attempt as you've added some bits which at the instantaneous are not standard to the motherboard. wish this helps.
