I am in college right now majoring in elementary education but I am finding out I do not think it is the right thing for me. I like being things being quiet and not having to deal with too many people.

I recently lost my job and have found myself missing my cubicle....it was nice.

life in a cubicle can be quite enjoyable
I started out in college with plans to be a music teacher. then I discovered that I really can't stand the thought of being cooped up all day with a bunch of kids singing bad notes and quickly changed plans. I'm now an accountant with control over my space. I get to go to yahoo answers when I'm ahead at work, and listen to whatever music I want.
it's a wonderful cubicle/office life!

Cubiclism isn't quiet all the time! Especially when you have annoying co-workers constantly peeking over your wall, coming over to talk to you, etc. I'd rather have an office with a door!

there's nothing wrong with finding out that something else may be better suited for you. maybe you would like an office with a door and an amazing view! (i'd love that, a door to shut people out when i wanted to because anyone can walk up to a cubicle)

Boy you sure picked the wrong major.
Start getting some real world experience. Work temp and other jobs during your spring and summer breaks.
You may want to try to get an international job overseas.
Maybe you might want to be a Nanny. They make great money and you only have to work with a couple of kids.

No, it's not bad to want to work in a cubicle.
However, you should know that working in a cubicle is neither quite or secluded from people.

I've had all kinds of jobs and the one I've had working in a Cubie has been my favorite!!! Cubicles are not bad!!! I hope someday I'll have an office!

Well, you have to find something that you like where it does not involve too many people, I don't like to be around alot of people, either, I like it quiet and stress free, just makes the day alot better. Hope you get what you want. =)

It's great in a cubicle. I get to answer questions all day and get paid for it. I love my job!

It is just your choice on how you want to live your life.
Eather a life full of adventure and discovering new things or being normal.
