ive noticed that many of the american whom ive known whose family has been in the country and intermarried have an unique look to them verses those who have been here for a couple years, and are a distinct race.

There is such a thing as American culture, but not an American biological race. The "distinct look" you notice is probably the result of those people being accustomed to the mindset of the culture within this country as opposed to, say, the culture of a country in Europe, Asia, Africa, etc.

There is no such thing as an "American race", but there a race that consists of North Americans (possibly Latin too) called the Caucasian race.

no, there isn't such things as race. there is the human race, we are all geneitcally the same. there is an american ethnicity though, like mexian, asian, people like that. so ya, american wil become a new ethnicity but not race.

Species, we are one, but populations vary. I do not think the Americas, save perhaps indigenous people, have been populated long enough to be called a population.
