I’ve been feeling really down, depressed and like I just don’t care anymore…

Anyone have some words of wisdom, or a motivation speak to help me out?

No matter what looms ahead, if you can eat today, enjoy today, mix good cheer with friends today enjoy it and bless God for it.

Hello Aiken: One good old approach is to get a piece of paper & draw a line down the middle, top to bottom. On the left side list "things I like about my life"; on the right side, "things I don't like about my life". Be sure to include people and relationships. Now, for each of the things you don't like, make a column headed"can I do anything about this"; then answer each one, yes or no. If the answer is "no", then accept that and go to the ones you answered "yes" to. For each of these, list all the possible things you can do to change things you don't like into things you do like.
(for those things which really bother you deeply, go to a church, sit away from anyone else, and close your eyes and listen. Jesus Christ ,your brother, will see you and respond to your need. All you have to do is ask Him to ease your "burdens".) I will ask for this for you also !

Rent the movie Groundhog Day, always cheers me up.
Read Confederacy of Dunces, the funniest book ever.
Exercise. hike, gym, run, walk, whatever you can.
Get out and see people, force yourself.
Find a church, it helps, even if you're not religious, there is a message there that is uplifting.
Volunteer at a hospice, food bank, whatever, giving of yourself gives your life more meaning.
Hang in there, been there.
