Some of the icons of my desktop won't do anything when I click it. When I download a file, if I click on it, nothing happens. Should I reboot my computer? How do I Reboot my computer? Is there anyway to check what viruses I have? If anyone has the time, what happens when you reboot your computer? Thanks.

A reboot may work, that is always the first thing to try. Turn off the computer and let it rest turned off for a minute, then turn it back on. If that still does not work, you may have a virus or spyware problem. If you do not have any anti-virus software, you may want to buy it. Spyware removal programs are available for free by downloading them.

that is what it means to "reboot" your computer

if you do not have an anti virus program on your computer .. you should get one installed ASAP
especially if you download files - surf the internet - open some emails

you can check your computer for viruses online at the trend micro website (you will be required to download a file so that it can continue to scan your computer) :
