Hi, what would you do if you left a company because of the managers and if you like your job and found out that they were not working there anymore would you go back and try and apply for a job with the same company. Obviusly someting had gone on in the company for them to leave which they made the shop a horrible place to work in and which is why i think nearly everyone left.
The manager in the interveiw told me if she caught me chatting on the shop floor i would lose my job, So obvoulsy i was on probationary period and didnt want to do anything wrong, So i didnt really chat much when they where around even though they would chat to the other girls. and then they use to moan at me for being quiet but if i was talking they would still moan. Anyways what are your veiws on this situation, the job was good and the staff where good to get along with it was just the manager.
Also there is another job going its a traning in a day care nursery. I worked there once before and like it but

the girl i was put with was going through a hard time and i dont think she was looking after the children as she should she kept on leaving me to change nappys and stuff, and as we became friends i didnt want to say anything to the managers. But i like working there the hours where a little long but they said if i wanted to come back i could and they would do something with the hours. Yes some of the girls are cows and i had a few run ins with them. But i like the work. But i never had anytime i was working from 8:30am till 6:00pm and getting £80 and if there where fundays i wouldhave to but a constume etc and be left with harldy any money. Also i would have to studie towards my childcare NVQ. So i dont know.
Or i could try and get on an administration course and then work towards an nvq and get on a work placement. So i might have a chance of getting a receptioinst vacancy.

Why not try something new. You never know what you'll find out there. And remember, you're never going to like everyone that you work with. Sometimes you'll just have to cope. But definitely don't stand for abuse from managers. Either report them or leave. If I were you, i'd look for a different job altogether.

Personally i would have put in a grievance to head office about the way the management were treating there staff. If i felt i had to leave through the behaviour of the management i would have gone to a tribunal, and told them about the way certain management treated the staff there. As for going back i dont think i would have done, having said that if i enjoyed the job and the people i worked with then i might give it some thought.
As for the other job if its something you want to do then you should really go for it. Good luck x

Cut your ties, you don't work there any more it didn't work out. Just because some managers are gone doesn't mean they will hire you back. You seem to think you are a shoe in to get your job back, have they called you and told you this? The new managers might not like the idea that you want to come and go from the company as you please, and you can't tell a future boss that you only left because you hated your boss. If you're training for a new job, that's your new life, forget the old one.

I left a job a few months because I did not like the manager. I left on good terms and I could go back at any time and I will if he leaves. Until then I keep looking for a better job.
If I were you I would try to get the good job back and be happy the old manager is gone, it seems like you will enjoy it there without a nasty person in charge.

You learned a lesson that many of us have learned through our own experience - Never leave a job because you don't like your manager!
This is one of the first things I tell my career clients. If you really enjoyed the work, and the other people you worked with, why not go back? Really, really think about it though, and envision yourself back at your job (minus your former boss).
If you decide to go work somewhere else, ask questions in the interview about the management style, expectations, etc. so you can have a clear picture of what it will be like before you ever accept a position.

Ideally you should have got in touch with the HR department, or a union Representative if you had one

Why go backwards in life?
Push yourself forwards, you may well find something so much better out there
