I'm having some friends over on friday (one of them being my extremely cute crush) and i can't decide what movie to get...i dont want anything to scary or gorey so i decided on either The Prestige or The Illusionist--either way it's a thriller. The Prestige seems more interesting and has a better rating but i can't decide, any suggestions?

I loved The Prestige, but since it doesn't hit DVD until the 20th, you might save it for another party and go with The Illusionist.

Personally, The Illusionist appealed more to me than The Prestige. Well, this is only me forcing my opinion, why not ask your friends what they like?

I would also go with The Prestige, but that is just my personal opinion. Keep both on hand, and that way if he doesn't seem interested, you can pop the other one in. Don't forget the apps! :)

I saw them both. I thought The Prestige was better, it has a good surprise ending.

the prestige will get you into the movie and has a good story line but is sorta hard to understand, i though it was alright, but you wont really notice if you are making out during the movie

The Illusionist I just watched it and it is great plus maybe you could be next to him and talk while he complains on how it is a chick flick.

scary movies are to cliche for crushes. get the Prestige, its thrilling enough to get you two close, but better than the Illusionist.

watch the prestige its awesome and will keep you and ur friends entertained.. and sit next to this cutie and if anything scary comes be flirty and just pretend ur so scared that you have to just cling onto him...
