You don't necessarily have to change your wardrobe or buy a whole new range of clothes to change your dressing style. Instead, all you need is some nice accessories, to go with your casual jeans and you'll be all glammed up. Here's a list of accessories that have an effect on your outlook: mutli-colored scarves, belts, ponchos, bandanas, headscarves, dangling earrings, purses, bags, hats etc.
Always combine clothes to get a brand new outfit. Try ponchos with tanktops and cropped pants. Or headscarves and sunglasses with cute casual dresses. Try wearing dress shirts wih boot cut jeans. Try a nice blazer with tight fitting jeans and some flat plumps. Change your shoes regularly. Go for high-heels, flats, plumps, stilletoes, boots, sneakers, sketchers, slippers etc.
Also the color combination should always be paid attention to. If your going for cute, try shades of pink with whites, or purples and blues, maybe red and pink. If you want to give a more dramatic expression, try darker shades, black and reds, maroons, magentas, violets etc. ALWAYS keep in mind that the colors should match-up well, and shouldn't give a bad expression. Colors ARE most important.
Remember you don't have to buy designer clothes or shop at claire's to look fab. You can buy vintage stuff and still look hot. Ask me, I've never wasted my money on designer stuff. Instead I just buy regular and cheap clothings, and ALWAYS get good comments on my dressing :D Good luck! :)

Okay, so why does it have to be a t-shirt and jeans that you have to dress up? Why not take and a dress and wear a belt with it, even if it wasn't intended for it, and wear pants under it. Take a classy, formal dress and dress it down with belts, purses, shoes, sock, bangles, jackets, hoodies, whatever looks good but its a totally differnet look. Take an Hollister tee and pair it with a pair jean, then wear a polo under that has the same shade of color in somewhere.. then pop the coller of the polo to show from under the t-shirt and pair it with a necklace, and cute hair accessory. Oh those little half hoodies or half shirts are adorable if you pair them with a good matching shirt underneath. Outfits can look gorgous if you can pair the hair accessory to match you purse, belt, shoes or even shirt!! Hope I helped!

Uh how bout being a prep? I love a tight-fitting pink or light blue Ralph Lauren polo with a cute plaid and pleated mini skirt which Lacoste "fashion tennis shoes" or adidas superstars with a head band and my hair down, cute earing, manicure, a little body glitter mixed in with lotion works wonders on bare legs, and a purse by D&M, louis vuitton, or Ralph Lauren. Good Luck!!

Well, it's cold out so buying a scarf from one of those stores you shop at-I've seen them at AE a lot-or another store like Aeropostale or Vanity or anything like that will really add to an outfit without making it too flashy. Magic scarfs are nice too, they should be like 5-9 dollars at your local mall. Don't be afraid to add jewelry-but check the quality first.

Think about putting jewelry with your outfits. If you are wearing a t shirt with printing on it do not wear a necklace, but you can wear earings. Organize your closet in a way that makes sense for you. I have organized by short, tank and long sleved shirts. I put them together by color. Then you can see your clothes in a different way and combining them in different ways.
