can you post it on ebay? Also if there is a music shop nearby, they might be able to put up a small sign in their shop for you to sell it to someone who is in school who needs one. There are lots of options for you. Also place an ad in the newspaper or online - I think anyone who is going to play it would love it, it would be cheaper for them, and you will get a good worth for it.

A School would be my first choice..
If they teach music, and include the trombone in their instruction groups, perhaps the school itself or a student will want to buy it from you.
A private music teacher might also be worth considering, as they may know someone who wants one, or even have a bulletin board in their offices for used instruments, so students and visitors can see that your horn is available..
It can be sold through classified advertising in a local newspaper or, if you want to do it on-line there is Yahoo Auctions or e-Bay..

I would definitely look into eBay and your local newspaper. You never know who is looking for one. I play in a high school band and I know my director is always looking for good instruments. So I would also consider your local high school band.

Put it on Craigslist, and consider trading for things of equal value! Craigslist is the greatest thing that ever happened. Really.
