Maybe if you could sneeze hard enough to dislodge your brain. Pretty unlikely, I'd say.

A stroke is bleeding in the brain. Most often it is brought on by high blood pressure and a weak vein. That being said, it's not impossible to sneeze so hard or the wrong way and give yourself a stroke, but unlikely unless you know you have problems with either veins or blood pressure.

Since most people don't know what brought on a stroke it would be hard to find a documented case of this. I worked in an ER for about 5 years and rarely, if ever, saw a stroke case in someone who didn't have other medical complications.

Has someone been telling you scary stories?! Shame on them.

Stroke patients can find themselves temporarily unable to sneeze, but I've never heard of sneezing causing a stroke.
