In my opinion it is "Biology," 7th edition by Reece and Campbell

Biology by Cambell, that is the book that most colleges use my professor used to call it Papa Campbell because it was the best. For me it was easy to understand, it is a huge book, i liked its diagrams and the website has animations of some mechanisms

i exploit various: Barnes & Noble Used textbooks (with my card), the college i'm attending, library (that would help borrow for the size of the class), each at times B&N makes use of yet another save in the event that they have them used (this is rather clever). some could be found at Pages books, others are on the bulletin boards on campus.
