Does anyone know what the numbers on the Inside tag of old Vintage Levi's Bell bottom jeans mean. 684 0217

684 0217 are on some and 684 0917 are on others. Can anyone help me out with these. I am trying to list them on ebay and am having trouble figuring them out.

I think those are just the style of the jeans. I wouldn't list them - just the waist size and inseam.
