Where I live, we are having a very mild winter so far. I live in the western part of Tokyo near Hachioji and the weather has actually been pretty decent. It's colder at night, but during the day the temp has been in the low 50's.

But further up north in Hokkaido it's very cold, and in Okinawa it's warmer.

Now it's in the low of 8 degrees and high of 13. Do bring a good jacket and small umbrella for unpredicatable rain. Noon time can be sunny so you don't have to worry about the cold then.

Right now, it's pretty COLD!!

Sometimes it snows in Tokyo too, love being at the Shinkansen (bullet train) station when it's snowing.... Nice feelin' :)

Big chunky parkers are the way to go at this time of year, same season as the U.S.
