It is down to Iris Elisabeth, Thea Mehetabel, or Mathilda Kate.

Mathilda is pronounced exactly the same as Matilda, it's just a different spelling.
Mehetabel (Ma-HET-uh-bell) is an old Hebrew name meaning "God makes things happy".

My Secret Identity, you are correct to assume that I prefer older names. A few of the names you have suggested (Clementine, Augstina -though I prefer plain and simple Augusta-, and Pearl) are ones that I have liked for a very long time, but the husband did not share my affection for them.
I also really love Isabel. In fact, Isabel Augusta was one that we were seriously considering. But in the end, Iris won. It has a little bit of sentimental value to us ("Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls is "our" song. Stupid, I know). Plus, it's not as popular as Isabel, which is a definate plus for us.
