Which is better or more "politically correct" to refer to a dark skinned person?

Personally I prefer calling a person by their name if possible & not use some label. If relating a story about a person or someone I met , there wwould not be a reason to identify race.

On the other hand if asked to describe an individual for some reason, all of the terms you have listed are acceptable, or I would refer to a person of color.
