If your Mom loves you she won't care. That's what it's about when you're a parent loving your child no matter what. So just tell your Mom privately she'll understand don't worry. : )

Like taking off a band-aid. The longer you put it off, the more it will bother you. Simply sit her down, or go out to dinner (assuming she isn't the type to make a scene) and let her know. Tell her that you love and respect her, and don't want to EVER feel that you are keeping anything from her. Make it a point to let her know that it's a personal thing (some parents blame themselves or think it's bad for whatever reason.) There are many sites that you can visit that can help you more. Possibly finding someone else who came out who has a Mom that is similar (personality) and ask them how they did it might help.
Good luck, and take care! :)

Stop. How old are you? If you are 12-22, don't tell your parents anything. You may just be in an experimental phase. No need putting stress on your relationship with your parents. If you still believe you are bi after college, then have a sit down with your folks. By then, you will be able to support yourself if the unthinkable happens.

well ... lots of people want you to just tell her,so easy to sit here and tell you "just say. Mom, im BI!" ... but I understand, this is family, and family is not always that simple ... what I would ask is this, is there some critical reason that you mom must know your sexual behavior? ... or do you just want her to hear it from you? ... if there is a critical reason, tell her ... if you just to be the one to tell her, make sure its really what you want ... because she wont really believe it untill she hears it from you ... you sound young, and this may just be a phase, give yourself time to figure it out ... and when you know for sure, it will be much easier to talk to your mom

same problem here,girl!
I don't know!Maybe you should start off with a speach saying that it doesent mater who you love as long as the person you love is worth it(you know, that kind of things) and then just tell her that you too are bi,because you don't look just at the gender, you look deeper inside that person!<-- This is what I'm gonna tell my mom! soon....or maybe later :P
Yeah,after college :P

Okay, first of all, I'm Bisexual and only some of my closest friends know, my parents don't know. okay, my addvice is to just ask them how they feel about bisexual and gay people and then if they say like they dont mind them then ask them what they would think of you being bi. and if they say its stupid of bad then maybe wait til the right time maybe. you get what i'm saying? if you need any more help just email me.
