Tiffany, that is why I am asking. I don't like the sound of any of them, but some people think they are OK and there has been talk about "white trash" because Jermaine Jackson called a white person that, and nothing much was made of it.

I don't think talking about racism is racist or offensive! These things need to be talked about and these terms are regularly used without thought

White trash is offensive, but Ive never heard people have a problem with whites and blacks as to describe a group.

It pretty much depends on who is at the receiving end. Personally I think that there is no such thing as white trash or black trash. Trash knows no class or creed or nationality either.

I dont think "white trash" is an insult.. or calling someone black or white, calling someone a n*gger on the other hand is offensive.
