Maybe you are just looking at a very small piece of the bigger picture. It is not a black/white thing. It is a white thing. The Caucasian race is, statistically, the most dangerous race to ever have walked the planet and have been responsible for more deaths to just about every other race on earth, than all the other put together. As the s/w/f minority group rep. here I can say that is a true statement, but I don't know why they are. Maybe their relatives were that way. That's the one thing I am glad my dad didn't pass on to my kids. He used to watch a show called All In the Family where the dad was so racial. My dad thought it was the best show. My sister and I hated it and would use that time slot for bath time and laundry as we got older. We were afraid to bring our Japanese friend over for fear of what he would say. I think women in general are less discriminating. Think about that outside of race. women are more likely to date a not good looking person because of their personality, etc. Men based things more on looks. So in general women tend to see past looks (i.e. race) . so when you throw in race, men would seem to base their opinons on looks so race is more "important" to them. That's just my theory. By the way, I think it works this way with reverse racism as well n ot just with white racists

Probably because when affirmative action came along, most of them wound up in the unemployment line to make room for the company's quota workers. They also can't get use from the "programs" that minorities can. Women, on the hand, well, we still have that one minority label left..we are women.
