They always just directly at my tarantula. Even after seeing one of their kind get eaten.

my guess is that by the size of their heads i would say just plain stupid but you never know, if i saw a tarantula coming at me and i was their size i would probably run but maybe they just want to get it over with

They are not dumb or suicidal they just can't tell it's there the tarantula evolved specifically for crickets so it's hard to detect and crickets don't have a brain like us it's for primitive as well as there very poor eyesight and they jump that's to fast to process information.

i think they comprehend death, even as simple as they are. so they probably just want to get it over with, i know i would. if you get a chance, type in "snake eat rat" or "snake eat mouse" on google video or youtube. after watching a few of those, i think that rodents ARE suicidal.
