The commercials can't depict how materialistic women are. It is not possible to depict just how materialistic women are. A totally new word would have to be created to depict just how materialistic women are. Something like, "Ifyouain'tgotnomoneyyouaintgotnobody.
And, yes they are liars. They will never admit anything. If we're going by not all of them, h*ll 10% of them is not worth mentioning. Commercials give a very good depiction of what women are.
No man has ever, or ever will, get anything without paying for it in some form.

As a woman, I can honestly say that I am not materialistic. I can also tell you that the majority or women aren't either. Sure, we'll look at magazines with celebrities, but half the time, I can't tell the difference between a YSL bag or Louis Vuitton. I would rather have the fake and not have to worry about spilling something on it.
Call me crazy, but I'd rather put food on the table than have a pair of Manolo's.

I really don't like expensive jewelry, the only think I would like is a nice engagement ring other than that NO!! I prefer fake jewelry, however some of my friends are very materialistic and want the best things...

Have men found better, more expressive ways? They're not creative enough, so we women go by the typical standards sometimes.
The commercials are about the company making money, but too many people fall prey to the "thinking" that media do for them.

Only if they have a wish list embedded in them. Besides...they come up with some of the weirdest styles at those stores. They take something simple and add too much to it and then it looks like the gaudy jewelry that's sold on QVC.

What do you think? From your experiences do you think commercials portray what people are REALLY like? No, of course not. They make men seem macho and not afraid of anything. Not all men are like that, some are. They make Women helpless and anorexically skinny. This isn't true at all! Women are strong and powerful. People get to believing that this is true and think that all people are like what TV portrays for us. Think beyond that. Materialistic people do exist, but not all people are like that.
