Dr. "Schultz" was a man who owned a few stores in Canada during the time of Louis Riel's rebellion. He would pay his workers only in coupons that they could redeem at his stores which people didn't agree with. During the rebellion he went on the defensive against Riel and basically told him to bring it on while Schultz holed himself up in his store. Riel pointed a cannon at his store and Schultz surrendered immediately. He and his 45 supporters were quickly put in jail.
