I wouldnt mind one bit. i dont think many whites truely understand us. they think we celebrate o.j because he got away with murder. Of course he did it. i don't care. (although i feel bad for the families) - If you think (and many whites do) that that was the worst injustice ever in our court system, you should go look at a history book. People on this board have compared the naacp the kkk. the kkk was a hate group the KILLED BLACKS- HANGED AND LYNCHED. when has the naacp killed anyone. stop it with the "well we should have the naawp", you already have that-- it's called "america". I feel bad for the kids at duke who were charged with rape, although they were not perfect kids by any means i dont think they raped anyone. That being said, for the first time in a long time whites were arrested and charged by the police for political reasons, its wrong, but it's odd to see the shoe on the other foot this time. One day they'll be a colorless society, it's just not now!!!

Every month is white history month. Every day is a straight parade.
The purpose of black history month is to enlighten kids and others about another side of history, about something other than the dead white men in places of power. There isn't any need for white history month.

There will never be a colorless society and I don't believe that there should be. The biggest problem we have in this country is ignorance of one another, lack of communication, and close-mindedness, all of which is fueled by media propaganda.
Our generations of all colors, but especially blacks who need to remember the most, are too apathetic and have forgotten about the history you are talking about. Instead of being angry and just spouting off, take the opportunity to teach or remind someone of the history you are talking about. Take some type of action, make a website, create a student group, join a movement, educate others... Do something to help correct the problem...

Then if no one would care about a white history month, then why isn't one set aside? I really think that there would be a problem if a month was recognized as white history.
I could care less about the injustice that has happened years ago. Try living in the now. Why don't you focus on the future and make a better life for you and your family. And stop worrying about the KKK, hate to break it to you, its not going away anytime soon.

As the minority group in this country (caucasion), I see Asians, Hispanic, and every other minority getting bashed right along side the majority. I am sick and tired of hearing people claim they aren't racist in here. They just try to word their statements to offend us ALL. We are truly all in this together whether we like certain things or people. Color isn't what I hate; it's the ones who draw attention to it....

it's white history month all year long! i think that it's despicable that black history month is February, the shortest month of the year. it's sort of like white people are just giving blacks the shortest amount of time to have and spread pride in their culture before we turn it all back to white supremacy - i can't wait for that colorless society, but i don't think it's going to happen :(

Black history is Feburary
Asian history is in May
Women's history is in March
Native American history is in November
Gay history is in Feburary in the UK.
Saint Patrick Day is for the Irish!
Italian History Month is October

LOL and blah. I wish we had a white history month, but i'm sure some of the darkies would call it kkk month just like we call it national nigro month behind your backs. And let me set the record straight pal, More money is spent through private government funding per capita on blacks than anyone. More welfare more public housing, more government insurance and more government cheese. Yet, as a black man you don't get a fair shake. you get just as much money for college as we do and then some. don't like living in the ghetto? get an education. pfft

We should have a month dedicated to white history. as well as native american history, etc. but i guess every other race see every month except february as white history month and anyway if we had white history month, it would be racist. just look at BET. imagine if we had WET. ****** would trip

I couldn't agree with you more.
whiteprince1488 and Tabitha only prove that racist are hypocrites. Racist are are the only complainers and whiners. They complain about not having a WET and white history month, but then that would be ONE LESS COMPLAINT.
