Hi,
I want to start work as a lap dancer, but am worried I might be too big at a UK size 12-14 (?US 8-10). I'm 5'9. What do people think?

you sound fine to me! I've seen much bigger strippers.
It's mostly about looing glamorous and being able to act sexy and having the confidence to talk to clients and, of course, strip in front of a crowd
As long as you are well groomed, can walk the walk and walk the walk i'm sure you'll have no problem!

I worked as a stripper for 5 years and my weight varied from a US size 4 to a size 14. I was successful at every weight. Different men have different "types". What really matters is how confident you are perceived as being and how good of a salesperson you are. Being in good shape makes it easier but the most successful dancers are those who build up a regular clientel basis. Find those who like curvier women and take them for all they have ;).

There is no point asking a bunch of yanks, because they are all obsessed with being skinny, yet most of them are overweight...go figure.
If you ask any British man, most will say a UK size 10-14 is pefect. You for it and don't worry what people think.

You can be a stripper at any weight, it just depends on who will hire you. Some guys like bigger girls and strip clubs cater to that.

size 12 to 14's ok just dont go upto a 16,thats single mother with 5 kids and shopping at netto ground x

i have worked in a strip club and we had all sizes as peoples tastes differ and some of our girls were not that good looking either. men dont really care as long as they get to see women naked
