it only bothers me cuz i think they r the same people who would be too cowardly to say something if they were face to face with the person they choose to be rude to on the internet

What bothers me more than anything is an answerer that presumes every single question is totally serious and they answer with some metaphysical BS or a religious overtone that has nothing whatsoever to do with the question.
A serious question sometimes generates ridiculous answers that are non-productive, and that is just the way it is.
But when the question is clearly meant in fun, and you are expecting some funny responses, but then, oh good grief, here comes some pious soul who just has to give some negative s*** to an answer and ruin it all.

yes it does bother me alot! because instead of them answering the question, or simply ignoring it and going on to find something that best fits their interests...they bother whomever they feel they want to mess with...and its annoying as hell...and they say things that really piss you off, and I know for a FACT these ppl wont say any of this to anyones face!
now if its a RUDE question..then i can accept that then..because alot of rude ppl ask rude questions about ppl that are based on race and ethnicity...and then thats when those ppl get BLASTED..i know cuz i am one of those ppl that doesnt take discrimination lightly... but i DO agree with you though!!!

It bothered me in the beginning...I took it really personal. I really wondered why someone would talk so rude to me....then...one day it just hit me....they are not talking to me in particular...they are making a statement to anyone that is reading this question and/or answer! They see it as their 5 minutes of fame....which... is rediculous.
Now...when I see one of those rude comments I simply say...LOSER....and let that be it.

No. I spent 5 years on Yahoo Message boards so I'm used to rude. The rude people here are amateurs.

I ignore it. It doesn't matter what you ask anymore - one person is always bound to give the rude reply. I'm finding that if I don't answer questions the way the asker wants - I'm getting instant thumbs down. So no matter what it's hard to win on here - just keep smiling!

Who cares let it go. You will never see these people so why do you care what others say on here. Just read the first 2 words, if you dont like those words just pass over that persons responce.

No but what does bother me is if someone else reports it and it gets removed, it's MY question I can handle rude comments, we've all got "page down" haven't we.
