Ya think? I've been asking that question for years..frustrates me when black people complain that they dont feel equal yet THEY are the ones separating themselves...I dont get it...

You're point is spot on, however. Just take advantage of the opportunities as they are presented, don't resent it. Think about it, you don't even need to be a "top acheiver" in school to get a scholarship, all you have to do is be black. Exploit it while it lasts.
Again, the fact about the world is that when people struggle for equality, they often forget to make things fair.

There are other issues here. It's all so very mixed up now. The issue of "racism" has reached a point where any and everything can be considered racist.
On one hand, you are right, it could be said that black people ARE further segregating themselves. On the other hand, there still is a lot of racism in this World. I guess racism is one thing that's NEVER going to die.

Heh, I know where you're getting at. I find it odd that some guys would call each other n*****s like it was just some regular thing. You're probably right, if this keeps happening, it's gonna happen all over again, but I have a feeling that white people are getting this stuff up (no racist comment intended here).

oh please, these things are here, becuz they r not represented enough in the other events out there. many groups choose to have things showcasing themselves, like hispanic sororities and entertainment. if you are black, you're quite ignorant, and if you're not, at least hav the guts to represent yourself truthfully.
