How do you know this???? Are you checking it at the exact moment of orgasm? At any rate, vital signs increase at this time - heart rate, blood pressure, respiration - so it's a normal phenomenon. The problem might be when vital signs don't return to normal within an hour afterward. If your blood pressure is steadily increasing, it has nothing to do with orgasm. But if you're not convinced by what a health care professional has to say, then the only "treatment" would be to avoid orgasm.

I have read that everyone's blood pressure goes up during sex. I don't see how you could avoid it, actually. The problem is not so much that it goes up for a short time during sex (alas all too short, right?), but if it doesn't come back down. But, it makes me wonder how you know your blood pressure's going up? Do you have a blood pressure cuff of while you're doing it?

Your blood pressure has to go up to keep your lil' mushroom pumping. If you notice, your wiener will throb when it is erect. Too late, your blood pressure is already up. Blood pressure meds are notorious for causing loss of erection.

Do you wear a blood pressure cuff when you have sex? I would just have to have high blood pressure.

I thought it was supposed to. If you don't want your pressure to go UP, don't let anything ELSE go up!
Obviously not a serious question here.
