game systems?

what is the best game system out with alot of games to it??? is a playstation 3 okay??

Well the Xbox 360 has much more better games on it right now. There is a bigger variety. If you want a PS3, you should wait a little bit before purchasing it. Also, the 360 is a little cheaper. The Nintendo Wii has a good variety of games and is cheaper then both 360 and PS3, but 360 still gets my vote. If you are buying it for a child, then a Wii would be good. If its for you or someone else, then get a 360. People should wait a little longer for the PS3. As the price may go down and many good games(besides Resistance:Fall of Man) may be released. Hi, we probably need a bit more information to determine what is best for you.
If you are a 23 year old man, 'the best' might be a tad different for you than if you were a 10 year old girl.

Game selection is nice but the kind of games that you want to play would be quite a bit better.
Price range is also important.
There are signifigant differences between purchasing a nintendo WII vs a PS3 with respect to price.
DO you want a 'home' game system or are you interested in something portable like the nintendo DS or the psp?

You might even find that a ps2 suits your needs vs. cost and it is small enough to travel (at least that slim one is) so you could take it from place to place way easier than you could the PS2, the xbo and the WII

My son had both the xbox and the ps2. He had a choice of getting the xbox 369 or the ps3
he picked the ps3.
I went to the store to look for some games that we could play together and did not find a single one that I would be interested in.
There were about 15 (give or take) launch titles.
Most seemed 'boy/man' oriented.
I didnt see any 'fun games' like the lego racers or the mario cartoon typed games.
But it is just my opinion
my son's would differ drastically so consider the source!

ALL of the newer systems are pretty fun at least from what I have seen with respect to the kids playing the games at the stores.

the most fun system right now is the nintendo, ps3 still doesnt have the games yet, and there will be a price drop a little down the line. Xbox360 is noted for its lack of depth in games. Looking pretty but missing that eluding replay value of older games. If this is for someone else look at their personality. If they are geeky or like books and dramatic things, get the ps3. If they are jocky or confidant, kind of superficial, then get a xbox. If they are talkative party people and they like gadgets, get a nintendo. However, the worst thing to do:buy an xbox for someone who wants a ps3 or nintendo. ps3 and nintendo fans are of a more intrinsically creative and dramatic spirit (japanese), than xbox people (all- americans)

Go with the XBOX360. Best system RIGHT NOW and definitely the best games. If you want a PS3 in a year (you won't) then trade in your 360 and get one at that time.

Playstation 2 or playstation 3!!! playstation 2 you can buy for a wayy cheaper price and they have way more games for it. if u want the latest playstation, i reccomend playstation 3.

XBox 360. It has been out long enough to have a variety in choices of games, is more affordable than PS3. All the bugs are worked out and XBox Arcade and live rock!

You should save yourself some money and buy either a PS2 or a Nintendo DS. Hold off on buying a "next-gen" console for another year or two until the libraries fill out a bit. You'll be able to pick them up cheaper then too.
