As long as it is not HOMEMADE
Store bought mayonnaise, even though it contains eggs, is safe to eat during pregnancy. Because the product goes through processing, any potential pathogen that could cause foodborne illness would be destroyed during that process.
Other sauces and/or condiments made at home with raw eggs should NOT be consumed during pregnancy such as homemade mayonnaise, hollandaise sauce, etc. Keep in mind that uncooked cake batters, cookie dough, etc. that you make at home would contain raw eggs and should not be consumed

If Mayonaise is in a jar it is safe to consume as the eggs it was produced from are free from Salmonella as they are pasteurised. Mayonaise from deli counters and restaurants should be avoided as the origin of the eggs and their Salmonella status cannot be verified.

Listen to "Dragon Lady" as far as I can see she is the only one who got this right.
Just to reiterate what she said , there is nothing wrong with eating mayonaise while you are pregnant. I am sure that very few people these days go to the trouble of making their own homemade mayo, so you have nothing to worry about.

As long as it isn't homemade.
Homemade mayonnaise is made with oil and raw eggs...in that case no do not eat it under any circumstances whether you're pregnant or not...anybody can get salmonella
If it is a manufactured brand (like from the market) it's fine. These brand name products are prepared (cooked) and are perfectly safe.

I just ate a egg salad with mayonaise on it, so i hope it is okay. I am so tired of sall the restrictions on food while you are pregnant. The only safe thing to eat is fresh fruit and veggies, No hot dogs, deli meats, cheese, fish, salmon, sushi etc.. the list goes on and on...............

Commercial mayonnaise is quite safe.
Mayo you've made yourself is supposedly less so thanks to the raw eggs, but it's still a relatively trivial risk. You can buy pasteurized eggs to use if you're making your own.
"Q: Is shop-bought mayonnaise safe for pregnant women to eat?
A: Shop-bought mayonnaise is generally made from pasteurised egg and therefore should be safe for pregnant women to eat, but make sure you follow the storage instructions on the jar.
Pregnant women are advised to avoid home-made mayonnaise because it can contain raw unpasteurised egg and so there's a potential risk of salmonella."

Getting in a car is a risky activity, but nobody tells pregnant women not to do that. Don't let other people decide what're acceptable restrictions _for you_.

Real mayo is ok as is Miracle Whip...Things to avoid are soft cheeses such as Brie and Bleu, raw eggs or raw fish, tilefish swordfish and Great Lakes fish b/c of their high mercury content. Also make sure that you fully cook hot dogs if you eat them and microwave lunchmeats to avoid listeriosis.

On doctors advice, it is perfectly safe to eat mayonnaise when pregnant as long as it is NOT homemade. Anything you buy in a jar is safe!!!
