I have a 10k gallon pool, I recently had a new roof put on my home, and the roofers dropped roofing nails, so there are a few nail rust spots. Can someone help me?

There's a faster and easier way to remove stains. If this is a concrete pool (they stain easily) the tool I'm about to mention will pay for itself in spades. If this is a vinyl pool, it will still be worth it. It's called a stain master, costs about 35 dollars canadian, and can be purchsed at a decent pool shop. That and some of the acid you use to control your ph and Ta and the stain will be removed instanty. I'm not a big fan of treating the entire pool water to get rid of a small stain on a step or on the bottom when it can be gone in minutes with little effort or effect on your water chemistry.

I don't know if Vitamin C pills would take the rust stains out, you would need quite a lot. You're better of getting CLR and try to get at the stains. But if you think Vitamin C would be better, then get Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) in powder form, either at the drug store or grocery store. Its cheaper and doesn't take time to desolve like pills do.
