First off, does the blood looked as if it is mixed with the stool or is it on the outside? If it's just on the outside it could be that your stools are to hard and you're creating tears that are letting some blood out. It's pretty common with pregnancy and after delivery. One thing that could help that is to take more fiber. If its mixed in with the stool, then I think you should make an appointment with your doctor. If you're going to start with fiber capulets or anything like that, I'd call the doctor first just to make sure it's alright.

It sounds like you are constipated and the blood vessels around the opening of your anus is bleeding because of you forcing the bowel movement out. Drink more water and eat foods with more fiber. My doctor told me that Metamucil's Fiber-Sure powder was safe to use during pregnancy. There is no flavor to it. You just add it to any foods, or drinks.

First and foremost, you need to expand on this question,
are you pregnant?
have you been diagnosed with stomach ulcers or intestinal tract infections?
do you have any pain in the kidney or abdominal area?
Whenever there is blood you should contact your GP immediately, and if there isn't one available you need to call an emergency room, explain your symptoms and follow their directives.
Seek immediate medical help if it becomes persistent or fever and pain develops
